A highly decorative 19th Century Japanese gilt lacquered cabinet from the Meiji period (1868-1912) the double hinged doors decorated with two eagles in relief, each standing on a pole in a shaped panel, opening to reveal two shelves and five drawers, all above another five drawers decorated with birds in gilt, the panels with birds among pine and bamboo. Lovely quality and in great condition. Circa 1880.
