Early 19th Century pollard oak and ebony cabinet

A superb quality early 19th Century pollard oak and ebony cabinet in the style of George Bullock, having a wonderfully figured rectangular top decorated with ebony inlay, a long frieze drawer below with the original ebonised turned handles and the drawers front having an ebonised edge, two large cupboard doors below with decorative brass grills in each panel, opening to reveal two shelves inside, the doors flanked either side with bold turned columns incorporating ebonised turnings at the top, centre and bottom of each column, carved beaded decoration running along the bottom and sides of the cabinet and standing on turned and carved feet. Superb colour and figuration and in excellent condition. Circa 1810.
George Bullock (1777-1818) was a sculptor and furniture maker working in Liverpool and London.
